Smrity Fami is an actress and model widely known in Bangladesh for her extensive work in television, film, and advertisements. She has modeled for 34 brands over her career and her most well-known works include the International Coca-Cola advert. She has worked with notable directors such as Shekhar Kapur, Rithuparno Ghosh, Amitabh Reza, Louise Hooper, and Nicole Kassell. She continues to work on screen with the British film industry with production houses such as Netflix, BBC, Sky, and Amazon. Smrity Fami has also been a working freelance film lecturer in London since 2015. She also works with the National youth film academy (NYFA) for a Teacher Film Making Master class and with London Southeast Colleges as a Lecturer in Film & Media. Her latest academic book “Virtual Reality with cinema technique and storytelling” can be purchased from retailers such as Amazon, Waterstones, Foyle’s, and Barnes & Nobles, as well as finding free copies in the British Library, University of Cambridge, Oxford, and Wales. Smrity wrote about a film article in 2020 for a film Journal. Smrity has finished her double graduation in 2009 in Film studies, from London South Bank University, and in 2012, Film and TV Production from the University of Greenwich. She finished her master’s degree in Film and Tv production from Anglia Ruskin University in 2020.

Smrity is also an entrepreneur as she has launched her premium beauty brand in 2021. The cosmetics brand “Fami Uk” aims to provide customers with a luxury experience.
